The Margrave Mini History website
Mini 1275 GT, partially personalised by Wood & Pickett during the years 1974 and 1975. To date still owned by the original owner and kept in excellent original condition (32.000 miles only).
The owner got fascinated after reading an article about Wood & Pickett Mini conversions in ‘Auto Motor und Sport’ car magazine (edition 11 - 1972). In March 1973 he bought a brand new Mini 1275 GT in the rare color ’black tulip’. In January 1974 the car went to Wood & Pickett’s Park Royal premises for the option ’smoke glass throughout‘, soon to be followed by the other wishlist options (specified below). During two years, it went frequently back and forth between Amsterdam and London.

- Electrically operated windows to both front doors complete with swivelling quarter vents and centrally positioned control switches (Bosch).
- Self parking wipers - two speed.
- Nardi steering wheel.
- Tyneside smoke glass throughout including a laminated sundym windscreen.
