Wood & Pickett Margrave Elite, Reg number 75 WP

This 1980 Wood & Pickett Mini was manufactured during the last run of 1275 GT production during July/August of that year.

Supplying garage was Henley’s, West London who delivered it to Wood & Pickett’s for the full Margrave Elite specification. The original client was a London property tycoon who was linked to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. The car was finished in Tottenham Hotspur blue and had a “HOT” personal number plate at that time. He owned the car for 11 years.

Several other London based owners also had their personal plates on this car; RON 760, HOT 740 and twice 75 WP.

New grille and modified front end complete with twin headlamps.
Removed four side body seams and rear roof-gutter to streamline body.

Margrave Elite Burr Walnut facia panel with matching Smiths 4” speedo and tachometer, oil pressure gauge, water temperature gauge, ammeter, clock and fuel gauge, fitted with matt black bezels. The layout includes ashtray, cigarette lighter, panel lights and full complement of switches.
Original sound system with Graphic Equaliser.
Recaro seats.
‘Margrave’ centre armrest with hinged lid to provide extra storage space.
Burr Walnut trim cappings.
Full Connolly leather upholstered interior.
Electrically operated windows to both front doors complete with swivelling quarter vents and centrally positioned control switches (Bosch).
Electric door mirrors.
Dipping rear view mirror incorporating direction indicating warning lights.
Night time door courtesy lights.
Armrests to both front doors.
